ART CAN TAKE YOU PLACES
PRIVATE HAVANA \ FALL 2025*
*Exact dates to be announced soon
Organized by Linda Pagani & David Guerra
Over the course of five nights, participants will immerse themselves in Cuba’s history and culture, gaining insight into its socio-economic and political conditions. Through the voices and works of resilient artists, designers and other generous individuals, our group will have the extraordinary opportunity to witness how Cubans are confronting both local and international challenges.
A rich and engaging program has been carefully crafted to include a historical tour of the diverse architectural styles of Havana, a wide sampling of Cuban cuisine at both traditional and trendy restaurants, visits to local artists’ studios and art galleries, and a day-long excursion to the countryside.
Thought-provoking discussions arise in the variety of settings and encounters that our travelers enjoy. We provide special occasions for our guests to co-create in our shared experiences, such as a visit to the recording studio of a Grammy-winning music producer, a lunch with a luminary curator in Havana’s neighborhood of Vedado, an exchange of expertise in farming in the tobacco fields of Viñales, cocktails with the founders of Havana’s hottest design brand, and intimate chats at the studios of a talented group of Cuban artists.
A boutique hotel situated in the heart of Havana (see images below) will host our group, offering a setting steeped in classic architecture, while also embracing the current wave of creativity happening in the city. With contemporary artworks curated by La Sindical and MARCA RIBE, the hotel’s interior spaces and the art selection serve not only as a bridge to connect our group but also visitors and collectors from around the globe to Caribbean artists.
It is a part of MARCA RIBE’s mission to offer experiences such as these, that deepen the understanding and appreciation of contemporary art through an authentic and meaningful dialogue.
Be a part of our upcoming journey, as well as our other initiatives promoting the arts of these regions.
