The artist's practice explores the dynamic relationship between memory, wonder, and uncertainty, using light and color to create a heightened energy frequency. Through gestural stains and drips, their work initiates a ritualistic experience that invites viewers to engage their imagination and connect with personal memories. The sea often serves as a central motif, embodying both chaos and calm—an ever-shifting reflection of society’s complexities. By immersing themselves in this interplay, viewers enter a state of contemplation, transcending the physical boundaries of the artwork.
Incorporating elements of syncretism, the artist redefines symbols and objects within a contemporary context, allowing them to take on new meanings. This transformation positions the artist as a neo-shamanic figure, bridging past and present through art’s transformative power. Their work acts as a catalyst for introspection and spiritual exploration, encouraging viewers to reconnect with ancestral memory and personal narratives. In this space of self-discovery, the boundaries between art, memory, and the spiritual realm blur, creating a dialogue that is both deeply personal and universally resonant.
