RAZAS DE AGUA

Works by Julianny Ariza, Natalia Benet, Juan Bautista Climént, Laurie De Jesús, Carlos González, Edgardo Larregui, Dionnys Matos, Rigoberto Quintana, Adeline Rapon, Danicko Rivera, Pablo Serrano, Roberto Silva, Maikel Sotomayor and Carlos Zorrilla.

The exhibition explores the relationship that those born in or connected to the Caribbean have with the bodies of water that define the region. Through different perspectives, the works address migration, spirituality, and mental health; water scarcity and access to water as an essential resource; its preservation within the Caribbean ecosystem; and the ways in which the constant presence of water has shaped the region’s cultural identity, history, and memory.
